Michael Orbino began his real estate career with John L Scott, Inc’s downtown Bellevue office in 2002 as the youngest agent hired in the company’s number one producing office. He holds a number of Realtor designations including Council of Residential Specialists, Graduate Realtor Institute, and Accredited Buyer’s Representative.

 

In 2005 Michael founded The Orbino Group as a division within John L Scott that specializes in builder and developer consulting. The Orbino Group’s areas of expertise include pro-forma analysis, land development, product mix, marketing plans, and sales execution.

 

Michael currently serves as a Managing Broker for John L Scott and sits on the company’s Presidential Advisory Council. He is also actively involved with industry level leadership by serving as the Chairman of the 2010 Seattle King County Realtors Young Professionals Network. He also held a special appointee advisor seat on the Seattle King County Realtors Board of Directors in 2011 and remains active on the Governmental & Public Affairs Committee. In 2013 he was appointed by the National Association of Realtors to serve as the Federal Political Coordinator for Washington State's 1st Congressional District which takes him to Washington DC often to be a voice representing homeowners on issues concerning real estate policy and taxation.

 

Michael’s proudest achievement comes from serving 6 years in the United States Army Reserve as a finance soldier with a one year active duty tour for Operation’s Noble Eagle and Iraqi Freedom. His mission was to help service members and their families ensure financial stability through wartime deployments. He maintains the rank of Sergeant and is a proud Veteran of our nation’s armed forces. Michael completed his graduate certificate from University of Washington’s Executive Development Program in 2009 and is currently pursuing his Master’s in Business Administration.

 

As a 3rd generation Bellevue resident Michael continues his efforts to give back to the community that has given his family so much by serving on the Eastside YMCA Board of Directors, teaching young people financial literacy as a Junior Achievement Instructor, and as a Groundbreakers Mentor for at-risk young men through the Bellevue School District VIBES program.


He uses whatever time he has leftover to focus on his hobbies which include running, skiing, boating, reading, and traveling.
